Superior Roman Head Rail (Unique Child Safe Design)
The Fully Made-to-Measure Superior Roman Head Rails are built using a Heavy Duty 1.2mm aluminium profiled housing with Click-Lock Control unit and Click-Lock sliding cord spools with pre-loaded 3 metres of cord and a Unique, Totally Child Safe breakaway chain wheel and chain. The wheel and chain is retained in the head rail by a spring loaded drive hub which operates the blind easily during normal use. Should a Child or pet become entangled with the chain, or any other weight force greater than 6 KG be applied to the chain, the spring loaded drive hub releases the operator chain wheel and chain. It is a simple task to reload the chain on the wheel and re-insert it with a gentle push pressure. Safety cord adjustment and release toggles are supplied 1 for each cord spool.
This Child Safe design has been fully tested and approved under EN13120/part A/2014 Child Safety Legislation.
The operating chain does not require any wall mounted retaining devices but the chain length must not be less than 600mm from the floor level. The beaded loop chain can be White Plastic or Zinc Plated metal.
